Karla and her husband, Evan, have been IFI volunteers since September, 2020. She spent her adolescent years in Haiti as her parents shared God’s love there and has the same heart and love for internationals. Karla has practiced prayer since youth. She has served as prayer coordinator for the women’s ministry at her church and over the years has met regularly with other women to pray. In summer 2021, an open door and the leading of the Spirit moved Karla into the service of prayer coordinator for Central IL IFI. She seeks God’s guidance to encourage and equip believers in praying for IFI staff, volunteers, and students.
